We are looking for a new member to join our team, to manage, develop and deliver a new professional training service for Building Blocks Family Centre to meet needs and create a new stream of income for the Charity.

Contract: 12 months (extension by mutual agreement if income targets are achieved)

Job Purpose
To manage, develop and deliver a new professional training service for Building Blocks Family Centre to meet needs and create a new stream of income for the Charity.
Key Responsibilities
- To develop a programme of training to generate income for the charity in order to support its future sustainability
- Delivering high-quality customer service and contract management
- Identifying, pitching for and winning business
- Design and deliver training courses and workshops, utilising a variety of methods, (face to face and virtual courses)
- Identify opportunities to develop the business and design and deliver new courses in response to needs
- Assess proposals for training courses and workshops received from staff and third parties
- Design blended training materials, courses and programmes and produce related training materials
- Undertake the programme management for both accredited and non- accredited products and services
- Manage the budget for products and services, to include planning, forecasting and monthly reconciliation and the development of pricing models to ensure competitiveness
- Plan and deliver the annual programme of workshops and training programmes
- Keep up to date with methods, tools and techniques which can be applied to achieve more effective learning and use this knowledge to propose innovative modes of delivery for client
- Review the competency of current staffing in order to match skills to training delivery
- Become the Agored Centre Lead, liaise with Agored and ensure all requirements are being met
- Management of evaluation processes, quality assurance, data and resolution of client issues
- Contribution to delivery of marketing and communications strategy including website content and development of collateral, promotion via networks and event
- Any other duties commensurate with the post that could be reasonably required.

Level 3 Award in Education and Training
Knowledge skills and Experience
- Substantial knowledge and experience of managing training and development products/services
- Able to set clear objectives and meet financial targets
- Knowledge and experience of designing and delivering training programmes in areas relevant
- A confident public speaker with excellent presentation skills and an engaging training style
- Excellent listening skills and ability to understand a brief and feedback
- Good understanding of and ability to communicate learner outcomes
- Ability to communicate effectively with people
- Excellent personal organisation and time management skills
- Ability to identify high quality trainers quality within the team, assess programmes proposed, and manage the contract and budget
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively and manage own work schedule
- Experience in budget management, planning, forecasting and financial reconciliation
- Good appreciation of marketing and communication tools and their exploitation for results
- Thinks through the impact of decisions.
